High Fade are a three-man funk and disco powerhouse from Edinburgh, turning heads worldwide with razor-sharp grooves and explosive live energy. Since their first release, they’ve racked up over 30 million views and streams in just six months, earning praise from the likes of Jack Black, Cypress Hill, Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), and Rage Against The Machine’s Brad Wilk.
Formed in 2018, Harry Valentino (guitar/vocals), Oliver Sentance (bass), and Calvin Davidson (drums/vocals) have played over 1,000 gigs in four years, developing their infectious style through street shows and busking. With high-octane performances and a tight three-piece setup, their sound rivals bands twice their size—live shows are where they thrive, fueled by unpredictable crowd interactions and a raw, unfiltered energy.
Their viral hits “Sharpen Up,” “Burnin,” and “Burnt Toast and Coffee” spread like wildfire on social media, while their old-school grind and modern approach to promotion have earned them fans across genres and generations. Influences range from Barry White and Motown to KISS and John Legend, blending classic soul with the swagger of rock and the pulse of club music.
Launching their own label, RPN Records, has given High Fade creative control, with monthly singles and a remix package for “Sharpen Up” on the way—featuring club-ready edits from Opolopo and Oden & Fatzo that reflect their love for dance music and its culture.
Now signed to Wasserman, their packed schedule includes UK and Scotland dates and a major U.S. tour this year. With support from brands like Ernie Ball, Blackstar Amps, and Suhr Guitars, High Fade are on a meteoric rise—and they’re just getting started.
As they put it: “High Fade doesn’t work unless there’s a crowd, a dance floor, and people that want to get down.”
