At just 18, Emily Jeffri has already carved out her own piece of music culture with her self-released, genre-defining & spell-binding dark-pop opus, ‘Soundtrack For An 80s Horror Movie’.The record has accumulated over 20m+ streams and counting and Emily’s viral genius has amassed her 20m+ likes and 300k+ followers on Tik Tok, building a dedicated global family in a very short space of time.
Her viral success came from a self-created fictional 80s horror flick, ‘Zepotha’, where she spun up a whirlwind of blurred lines between reality and fiction. The only way is up for this young unstoppable force, expect new music, wilder concepts and a feature film? why not…!
Emily’s latest single “VERSE” is out now, a harrowing love song that takes inspiration from the likes of Hozier, Arcade Fire, Florence Welch and Ethel Cain. This single is the first of a series of upcoming tracks that narrate the tragic story of a queer love affair that took place in the late 1980s.
