Carly Gibert is a 23-year-old artist/writer/rapper/producer hailing from Cambrils, Spain, a small town two hours outside of Barcelona. Musically precocious since a young child, her English covers of popular songs garnered her attention where she signed a major label deal at 16 years old. However, she unfortunately had a similar experience to many in the industry who sign too young but was able to be released from her deal.
Now with two years of independence under her belt and moving back to her native Spain, Carly has pivoted from the pop heavy sound she was pushed in and is developing a new sound, drawing influences from Beyonce, Mac Miller, Kendrick, Nelly Furtado, Tribe Called Quest, A$AP Rocky, Sampha, Rosalía, Ryan Beatty, and more. As a songwriter, she has already placed songs with A-list K-pop groups like Red Velvet and Twice and aims to keep writing at a high level, taking advantage of her bilingual fluency in English, Spanish, rap/sing ability, and versatility to touch nearly every genre and diaspora market.
Carly is a true multimedia artist, handling her own video editing, graphic design, 3D modeling, styling, fashion design, vocal production and more. Her highly editorial look has led to brand partnerships and campaigns with Zalando/High Snobiety, PullXBear, and more. She has also been profiled in El País, Spain’s largest national newspaper.
