South London artist BINA. first came onto the scene in 2019 with her debut EP Humble Abode. Fusing elements of alternative R&B, neo-soul and indie, BINA. swiftly became on to watch. Inspired by the likes of Kelela, Erykah Badu, and BADBADNOTGOOD, BINA. is representing a generation of vocalists that are choosing not to be constrained by production. Whether on a bedroom pop or an experimental jazz beat, BINA.’s voice will always sit perfectly.

BINA.’s music details the path of a young darkskinned black woman on a journey of self-discovery and introspection. Her music creates a very immersive world for her fans but the extent of her creativity doesn’t stop there as she also produces and learnt how to DJ. She has modelled for several brands including Anciela London in London Fashion Week and Doc Martens.

Following form the warm reception BINA. received off of her first EP, she continued to craft out her sound and collaborate with producers and musicians from a variety of genres. Following this, her first single since Humble Abode titled Boundaries, was premiered by Jamz Supernova on BBC 1XTRA. The single went on to be featured by Lyrical Lemonade and a host of other press outlets. BINA. then released her follow-up single Dark Cloud which was premiered by the Fader and received support from New Wave Magazine, Offie Magazine, Westside Radio, and Balamii. The track was also playlisted by independent label College Music, Adidas, DLSO, Silhouettes Project, Alessio Bertallot and more.
